PCG-GRX316MP - Where can I get spare components?

The LCD capacitor for my PCG-GRX316MP screen has failed (located at the lower part of the monitor housing) and my screen is now unusable. Any idea where I can get a replacement? The part # appears to be Z410Z1 QAD9 and is made by TOKIN; I am getting no reply to my emails to Sony or TOKIN....and cannot find the part. Any help would be great, thanks in advanced...:smileycry:

Sorry to hear your GRX316Mp has had it's screen die, seems to be too much of a common occurance. I too have that model, so my concern is high too.

Getting spare parts isn't easy, I do remember someone finding a website for spare parts, but the address slips my mind.

All the best with fixing it, with that and memory slots dying Sony should really be ironing out these problems with the GRX and long time fidels.
