Hi all this is sonys new notebook and the replacement to the awsome A series.If you ask me the AX is not as good looking but with 160gb of storage a built in 300k pixel camera and fingerprint recognition would you realy care about the looks?

Yes i agree with you Kris it is very blocky and square compared to the rounded edges and swooping curves of the A.

if you saw that in a shop and did not see the spec or price you would think it was a really old cheap notebook running windows 98:smileyhappy:

Not sure. But it will come in 3 versions. 14.1", 15" and 17". I like the design. But not as an replace for a A series VAIO. And I would definetly get a 14inch one.

Take a look at SonyOnlineStore, Prestege Collection. You will find it there I think. Maybe I'm wrong.

Yes indeed, remember reading couple of months back that it has fingerprint recognition:smileylove: maybe only the Japanese BX model. Europe will always get it x months later some time never, like the Vaio P, HX, Series years back. This must be the first Vaio with biometric security. The silver one looks ok, the uniqueness in this Vaio is the SIGMA design (for easy visibility of all ports).
You can also add removable HDD motion eye is also back on this model.
