A little help please. Not so much a problem, more of a nuisance!
I keep all the Letters & Reports that I write in a Folder in 'My Documents\Letters & Reports'. My preference, because there are so many, is to show the contents of this folder as a 'List'. Although choosing the 'List' option, for some reason every time I log-on and re-open this folder all its contents are shown as 'Tiles'.
Is there ant way I can 'lock' the 'List' preference so that it always stays as such?
Thanks in advance for any help to this annoying glitch.

Here is one possible solution, does this Your view settings or customizations for a folder are lost or incorrect MS knowledge base offer a solution..?

I would be wise to back up the registry first though, here is a link on different ways to do this.
