guys what i desktop.ini? thanks
Hi there
Desktop.ini tells Windows how to display folders. For example if you assign
a custom icon or thumbnail image to a folder the desktop.ini holds that information.
This is a hidden system file but if it is showing on the desktop type CONTROL FOLDERS in Start - Search box and then click on Control Folders-, click on the view tab and scroll down to Hide protected operating system files (Recommended).
If this is unchecked then check it and click Apply.
If it is checked then uncheck it, click apply and then re-check it and again click Apply.
The file should no longer be visible on the desktop.
thank you!It worked.
