FR315S - not allowed to install hotfix

Hy,

1.) Pleace be careful with my bed englisch!

2.) Can anyone help to solve my poblem?
i want to install hotfix and dvd-burner update from sony-page, but i can't install it!
...it say's i am not allowed to do this.

I have a original winXP prof on my Notebook, not the Home edition what is includet!

Hi Leo and welcome to Club Vaio.

If I understand you correctly you no longer have the original operation system that your notebook came pre-installed with. If this is the case, before trying to install any upgrade you should first download and install the pre installed drivers and more importantly the pre-installed utilities from
Vaio-Link.

I hope that this will help.

I have installed the drivers, but i cant install hotfixes or dvd-burner firmware.

Have anyone another idea?
