Hi, I have the Vaio PCV-RZ322 UK Tower, and it's always been a nice quiet beast, but lately the fan speed seems to increase during the day, and thus the noise too.
It's colder weather, and the central heating has kept the room at the same 24-degress as usual.
CPU usage can be as low as 5% for this to occur. I can't think of or see any new programs that might cause this.
Any ideas? Any way to regulate it or make it calm down a bit?

EDIT: I notice there is a 'PowerPanel' program available for the Vaio, but I didn't get it as standard. Where can I download this? (Sadly there is no Power Management options in my Vaio's BIOS)
