dvd-writer in pcg-k series

does anyone know if the dvd writer in the k-series supports dual layer burning?

I don't think they do.

I think the later ones (K-31....) do, but the earlier 11 and 21 ones don't. I'm not sure though, you'd have to double check.

Yep, since K315


the 215 series has a +/-DVD Writer, but no doubler Layer

The K11 and K21 series can READ Double-Layer disks, as me and a few friends found out, some DVD-Video disks are made like this now ("the transition from one layer to the next on this DVD Video may trigger a slight pause").

We have that slight pause on our DVD downstairs, but it's from 2000
