Dolby Digital Sound on My notebook

I have the VGN-FS285B its great.High Definition device on my sony notebook. How can i hear Dolby Digital ound on my notebook. Thx.

Welcome to the forum,
WinDVD 7 Platinium Edition is just brilliant with spacial stereo,quadraphonic,surround but the standard WinDVD 5 may have a few ditital dolby codecs. Have a look.

Hmmm, the WinDVD which you got with your VAIO should have only the basic things. That's is Stereo sound mostly.

You need a nice 7.1 speaker system to really enjoy the experience
