docking station for the PCG K series?

hey,
does any1 know if u can get a docking station for PCG k series? My laptop is a k115b. it would be really helpful cos i realized the connectivity on this machine is a lil limited. I wanted to transfer some stuff off my old machine which doesnt hav usb!!!it would be much easier if i had a serial port on the laptop an that way i can transfer from the old desktop, otherwise i could jus buy a cheaper docking station. Im not in great need i hav alternative ways but this might make things a lil easier. anyway yea jus wondering if u can a docking station for this series? any help would be cool!

I dont think that sony make a docking station for this laptop, but you could check on the sony website.

What connections does your old computer have?

If it has firewire or ehternet you could create a network between the two machines with a fireware cable or a cross over cable.

Another method would be to use a external hard drive if you have one or know someone with one.

Also Belkin make a device called the USB 2.0 Dock Station which might help you out.
