Hi, I thought I had posted a query earlier in the day under General but can't find it! I then found a link to here. The speakers attached to the docking station on my VGN-A517S won't work with Ubuntu 8.04. I can't open the CD tray unless I pres the tiny button (next to the reset hole) on the front of the tray.
After a spot of bother with internet connection everything else seems OK and the Fn key/brightness works.
