Hi,
I bought a secondhand Sony Vaio desktop and the previous owner neglected to inform me that it was not wifi enabled (perhaps I should have asked). Anyway, I bought a USB wireless adapter - didn't connect. Next I bought a Wireless PCI Network Adapter - the type that you install inside the machine - it did not connect to the internet either.
The only way the ***** thing will connect to the internet is via a cable. This is EXTREMELY annoying.
Does anyone have any idea how I might remedy this?
Hi ezeeozee
As you have tried too different devices this might be an OS issue. What operating system is the laptop using? Have you installed all the drivers for the two devices?
What model of Sony desktop is it?
