Unfortunately, as Vaio-Link does not have a BIOS updated available for your model, the answer is that you can’t update.:smileysad:

then how can i change usb2 to usb 1.1 ??

Even with a BIOS upgrade I don’t think that would be possible. Why do you want to change your USB 2 ports to USB 1.1

i have ipod and cant connect to my vaio ...but i try on usb 1.1 and that connect ...dont know why but in my vaio show as unknown usb port ..

I have no knowledge or experience of iPods, but USB 2 is backwardly compatible with USB 1.1. Are there any drivers that come with the iPod?

no driver.. xp dos know as mass storage device ...but now xp know my ipod as onknown usb port ...

Is there a program for an Ipod, something like Itunes, that has to be installed first?

There is the possibility that Windows has not found/installed the correct native driver for this device.

Try uninstalling the device (in Device Manager) and then scan for hardware changes (drop down menu under Action). When the ‘found new hardware wizard’ runs point it in the direction of C:\Windows\inf to locate the driver.

i have a itunes program but not working .... and i done anything ((( i need just upgrade bios and change my usb to 1.1
