BATTERY IS DRAINING WHEN MY VAIO IS TURNED OFF!!!!

BIOS: latest version from homepage

If I have my battery at 100% and I turn the laptop off and try to use it after 2 weeks all battery power is gone!!

Even after just a week its very low on battery..

Soo there is something consuming the power even when the computer is off
I really need to solution for this.

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem - I raised a support call with Sony & the reply was normal drain is 15-20% per day !

If I remove the battery from the laptop it retains a charge

I have an HP laptop and this does not drain power when switched off.

Good luck with finding an answer &I just got fobbed off,
