Battery failure?

Hi there,

Wondering if this is a battery problem (I suspect it is!). I have a FS115B, and it is less than 1yr old (March/April this year). However, the battery seems to loose charge when not in use lately (i.e. over 3 days it goes flat) even when on "Shutdown" rather than any other method. Earlier today I turned it on and it said 32% (not used since full 100% charge!!!) then it crashed, restarted and it said 10% free.... I suspect its turned faulty.... suggestions / opinions please!

Thanks. Will be contacting Sony as soon as, although their e-Support "new case" is broken right now... 😕

It sounds like the battery has failed. The only solution is a new battery . . .

The battery only has 90 days warranty, so thats well over.
You can order new batteries on ebuyer.com, you just need the code on the back of the battery
