Using a Soundbar, help
I have set my new Sony LED 42" up to output the sound to my soundbar, rather than the speakers on the TV, HOWEVER every time i adjust the volume of the soundbar, the message "TV VOLUME IS FIXED" appears on the screen, can this be removed by adjusting a setting in Settings ?

The TV is the SONY
BRAVIA KDL42W829
and the sound bar is a basic
YAMAHAATS930
The soundbar has the learning function so that it can be contolled with the TV remote.

Hi there
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, looking at the TVs manual, you can set the Audio Out to "Variable" instead of "fixed"
Instructions
http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/14HE394111/EN/c_extsnd_aout.html
See if that works anyhow.
Cheers
