Upscale SD content delivered to Tv?

Sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but pretty much all content is upscaled for Full 1080p TV's unless its a Blu-ray/PS3 or another source which is natively in 1080p. So your native TV resolution is 1920x1080 whereas DVD for example is 720x576 so it will be stretching the content to fill your screen and in the process.

The X-Reality chip inside your TV does most the work on this and certainly makes a lot of online content look a lot better from what I have seen.

Thanks
