We have a KDL - 40NX703 which we used to have mounted on the wall but having moved now want to use a stand. Needless to say the stand which came with the TV can not be found after the move and so I have been looking at alternatives.
Replacements for the original stand are crazily expensive but the monolithic stands look really good.
The problem is that I can't seem to find one which says that it is compatible with our TV.
Can anybody point me in the right direction?
I'm looking for something that looks similar to the SUB401S but will happily consider any other suggestions.
Thanks in advance!
Ben

Hi there
The SU-B401S monolithic stand is for the some of the 2011 range of TVs.
You could purchase all the parts for the original stand : HERE, but as you have figured out, its an expensive way of doing things.
Short of re-wall mounting the TV, and as the TV complies with the VESA standard (300x300), have you considered a VESA stand such as :
http://www.amazon.co.uk/MountRight-Table-Top-Stand-Base/dp/B0077ME02S/
http://www.amazon.co.uk/VonHaus-Swivel-Bracket-Suitable-Plasma/dp/B005MWS9V8/
http://www.amazon.co.uk/1home-Cantilever-Bracket-inches-Shelves/dp/B00B77V1CG/
As always, research the product fully before purchasing, to ensure that it suits your needs.
Cheers

Hi there
Whilst researching another question with the same model TV, I came across the exact model of the 'monolithic' stand that you would like.
SU-40NX1
Getting ahold of one, might be a different story.
Cheers
