Playing home burn cds on Bravia dvd player

I have burned a cd to contain photos and I can play this on my Sony Vaio laptop with no problem.  However when I insert the disc into the Bravia dvd player it ejects it.  The cd is a Verbatim.  I must be doing something wrong so any help offered would bemost acceptable.  Many thanks.  Saldemer

Make sure the CD is finallised on the PC as that mmight be why its rejecting playback possibly?
