How to get rid of Freeview viewing

I have a Bravia TV and decided to explore Freeview as I had never found or used it.

I discovered it but when I go to TV guide now it comes up in black and white with no BBC channels.
how can I get the TV back to showing live TV and the guide in colour once again?

I find this infuriating.

Er…. Was there supposed to be some content there?

My favourite bedtime reading is a Sony product manual…

No you don't need to press Enter or OK.

After making the selection between  TV and Live TV & Catch Up the TV automatically goes back to

the Settings> Channels & Inputs menu, from there you come out of the Settings menus back to TV broadcast.

Then press the TV button on the remote control to affect the change to the selected "TV app for Digital"..

To resolve the issue with Freeview on your Bravia TV, first check the TV's connection to ensure it's properly linked to the antenna or cable. Then, perform a Freeview retune by accessing the TV’s menu, selecting 'Channel Setup' or 'Digital Setup,' and choosing 'Auto-Tune' or 'Auto-Scan.' This will refresh the channel list and might restore color and BBC channels. If the problem persists, try resetting the TV to factory settings through the 'Settings' menu. Make sure the TV firmware is up-to-date and consult your TV manual for specific instructions.
