Hi, has anyone else had this issue, I am trying to add photos to my contacts, they are in "Album" some I have taken with the phone, some I have transferred from PC.
In every case, when I try to add the photo to a contact I get the message,
"Picture Protected, could not add"
Any thoughts appreciated.
PS. If I try to add one of the stock images that was already in Album, it works fine, just not any personal phots.
Thanks in anticipation,
Ray

That worked a treat, thank you.
A bit of mystery, I will try to delete any apps I have installed that I don't really need, to see what caused it, I assume it was one I added and not one that was pre-installed.
Thanks once again.

Spookily, since changing a few this morning in Safe Mode, I can now change them in Normal Mode. ????????????
ie No more warning messages about Protected Photographs. I wonder what all that was about,........probably a "feature"
Oh well, all now sweetness and light.

It could have been related to an antivirus or something you have installed.

I did install Kaspersky Internet Security, and that is still on the phone, maybe it was summat to do with that, just interesting to see if anyone else comes up with the same issue, or am I just lucky.
