Surround system bdv e4100

Hi All..I have Sony bdv e4100 surround sound system and i cannot get it working, theres No Signal coming up on tv and all hdmi connected correctly etc etc,, A guy put up to press the Function button repeatedly on remote and it worked but wont work now, any help is appreciated

Welcome to the Sony Community.

From the the Blu-ray Disc player menu, can you try setting the Quick Start Mode to Off.

Hi Sean thanks for that, my problem is i cant see any menu from the surround sound on the tv, all i get when i put on surround channel HDMI, it says no signal..I did press the Function button several times in succession on the remote  and it brought up the blue ray symdol..i tried that again but wont work now

it saays TV on display on surround system but that wont change either
