out of range

I have a KDL-40T2800 sony Tv and have recently been given a LG BP630 blu ray player.

Ive set it all up as per instructions but it keeps showong out of range on the TV screen...ehat does this mean & how can I sort it out

any help would be appreciated

Hi there

That message is to do with the HDMI cable. 

• Try replacing the HDMI cable with another one.
• Sometimes its also to do with the resolution.  Try setting the blu-ray players resolution to "Auto" or lower it (if possible) if replacing the HDMI cable does not work.
