Out of the blue, the machine cannot detect any dics. It tries so check, but ends up writing no disc. Goes for CD as well as DVD. If I do not place anything in the disc tray the result is the same, but here the machine is immediately able to realise that nothing's in. I have cleaned the objective, but no change.
What is wrong? I have small kids - have they by mistake been able to press a button somewhere leading me to scrap this great machine due to lack of knowledge of restoring?
