Does Sony Blu-ray 2011 really support Opera - now?

I have a Sony Bravia 3, 2010, 40" television - naturally with a beautiful picture and all kinds of excellent internet facilities including You Tube.

1. If I buy a 2011 blu-ray player, will it come with a working Opera browser for the internet?

2. Or is Bravia Opera in it's infancy and practically useless?

3. If it is useless, am I guaranteed firmware updates to make it eventually usable?

4. Can I plug in my USB wireless keyboard and mouse to control the browser?

5. Or should I wait until 2011?

Thanks for your informed reply.

Hi Mike

I wrote a short piece in the FAQ on this topic which might be worth reading. It is on I think all of the 2011 Blu-ray players, but you wouldn't be able to use PC peripherals to control it I'm afraid - there is an app for smart phones however called Media Remote which does the same job.

Thanks
