Help, how to connect Sony MHC-RG495 with my pc

Hi, I want to know how to connect Sony Hi-Fi MHC-RG495 with my pc. I tryed to connect them with the cable of 3.5mm in the one end and the RCA white and red in the other, but that didnt work . Do I need another cable to do this ?  (my hi-fi has only the 3.5mm jack for input)

I think all you need is a cable with a 3.5mm plug at each end. You can get them in lots of places, even Poundland!

Put one end in the PC headphone/output socket and the other in the hi-fi audio input socket. Select Audio In and away you go. It's all in the user manual. If you haven't got one, it's available at http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/2899690141.pdf
