CMTX5CDB Remote not working

Hi all,

i am totally stumped on this. My remote for my Sony system has stopped working for no reason. I’ve replaced the batteries, I’ve checked the IR signal is coming out using my phone camera and it has no effect on the system

I have even reset the system which means now i can’t even play Bluetooth anymore because I can’t re pair the devices without the remote.

all I can think is a flaw with the actual unit, any one have any ideas?
