I just went to the Play Store, but now Play Store want to activate a WLAN connection which I do not have!
My GSM provider offer me 15 GByte traffic and I want to use it.
How can I convince Play Store, that I am well connected to the Internet through GSM and do not have any WIFI here.
Such things are just worse!
From your Play Store app, swipe right from the left edge of your screen (or tap on the 3 horizontal lines icon on the top left corner -> Choose "Settings" -> Auto-update apps -> Auto-update apps at any time (Data charges may apply).
This is exactly what is not working.
If I TAP on the PlatStore App, it ask me if I wan to add a Google Account (Existing Account / Create new one) and if I choose "Existing Account" I have one created only to use the PlayStore, I am landing directly in the WLAN App to choose to which WiFi I wan to connect.
And now I am stuck!
The is no WiFi in a radius of more then 1km!
And I think, the next OpenWifi Access is 25km away in Rakvere which is no option for me.
The question is: What is going wrong here?
No solution?
Sorry, but this Android OS is like Windows A PEST.
Enforcing a GMail account to use functions?
How does Google know my date on the telephone, if Wifi (I do not have it)
is deactivated and there are no Data/Roming connections?
This is pure privacy violation.
I am already ongoing to develop my own (Open Source) SmartPhone
with Debian GNU/Linux as base.
More problems with the topic:
Not only "Play Store" want WIFI instead of using the existing GSM connection, but also
2) Mail (Mail to self)
3) Mail (New Message)
4) GMail
5) ES (Send by LAN)
6) ES (Save to ...)
The ONLY application which works with the 2.5G connection is Firefox and this absolutely flawless.
