Sony Xperia E5 PIN lock/FRP Lock

Hi there, I have been experiencing some difficulties in trying to remove the screen lock on my Sony E5, here's what I've tried:

  1. I have tried all pin codes I could remember it from
  2. I installed the Xperia Companion program and used the software repair option (it also constantly asks for the screen to be unlocked MTP mode etc
  3. Tried to factory reset it again to retry the FTP lock thing again and see if I can give it another shot

When the phone was factory restarted it was at setup and then asked me for my Google Login as of the FRP Google lock I believe, so now that meant I was stuck, the main reason I don't know my details is that I left this phone for a while as of damaging the screen. So I left it again and tried it again but this time it was on the pin lock screen and I've really run out of option

If anyone knows anything I would extremely appreciate it if you helped me, I've erased all my data trying to get this to work. Thanks x

Hi @Ilegalfall,

It sounds like your device is in lock down mode from performing a software repair using Xperia Companion, this is classified as an 'untrusted reset' and triggers lock down in Google Device Protection.

The only way for you to unlock your device is to enter the correct Google credentials used to set up the device prior to resetting it. If you don't have the Google credentials please get in touch with your Local support for further assistance.
