My phone won't allow me to make a call and doesn't ring when someone calls me. Says no mobile network

does this happen when you are on safe mode?

try to change your network type, setting>more>mobile networks>network type,. try 3g only or 2g only

Have you had the time to try what @nolramlb recommend?

If you have and you are still experiencing this behaviour, I would recommend that you try and register on your service providers (operators) network after doing a network search in your phone. To start this network search, go to Settings > More > Mobile networks > Service providers. Now a search will start and when it has been completed, tap on your operators network (marked with a small house icon) and see if you are able to register on it.

Hi @Sam52, welcome to our forum and I'm sorry to hear about this.

If you have tried another SIM card in your device as well, try performing a software repair using Xperia Companion.

This will delete all data on the internal storage of the phone, so it is important that you create a backup using Xperia Companion before starting with the repair that you can restore after the repair has been completed.

If you still can't connect to the mobile network, please get in touch with your Local support team and they will arrange a repair for you.
