I have an Xperia E, which is almost 3 years old. When I bought it, I set up Hotmail, which has worked perfectly up to now. Yesterday, it was fine, & working normally, receiving emails, & I sent out a couple, which delivered successfully. However, when I checked my email later, there was a blank white screen, with "No mail" written on, then I got the notification that Hotmail was no longer available, & I keep getting the notice that Exchange Services has stopped popping up. I can still access my contacts, but when I tried to mail someone, it failed. All my email folders are empty. I can still refresh, but that does not do any good. I have tried restarting the phone, several times, to no avail. I have no idea how this happened, or how it can be fixed. I relied on this alot, & really miss that familiar tone, announcing a new mail. Meanwhile, the Outlook I have on my pc is working normally. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Hi @Kaluthrica,
Welcome to the community,
I am sorry to hear about the email issue you have
In this case, I suggest that you remove the Email account from the device and then set it up again, this should resolve any issues you have with the email client.
You may also want to clear the data from the Exchange services application within the handset.
Menu > Settings > App/Applications > All > Exchange Services > Clear Data
Let me know how you get on.
