Recently, I've noticed that when trying to listen to music on my phone, the sound quality is terrible. It sounds like somebody has been messing with the equaliser (best way to describe it is as if I'm hearing it from a concert half a mile away). It seems fine when using the normal speaker, and even when bluetoothed to my smartwatch it sounds better than this.
I've also noticed that when I connect my headphones I get a constant, extremely irritating, tapping noise.
It's definitely not the headphones themselves as I've tried two pairs and get the same results. It's been fine before, this is only a recent thing. Can anything be done to fix it or is the handset screwed (at least in terms of using it as a music player)?
