Broken screen

I was recently out on a day out with my kids and had my phone in my pocket when i went to look at the time i noticed my screen was cracked i got it priced in 02 they said £100 to send it away and get it fixed but my phone is under warrenty with sony should i have to pay anything towards it or does it get covered under my warrenty as i dont know how it happened as it was in my pocket in a leather phone case.

I'm sorry to hear that but this is a global user based forum, it'll be wise to contact your Local support and O2 regarding this. There are myriad reasons on how the screen could crack, maybe it got bent, or you sat on it, or was hit, I understand the frustration.
