At the heart of Sony’s multi-room experience is our powerful new app, SongPal. Once installed on your smartphone or tablet you can use it to easily control each multi-room speaker in your house, so you never have to be without the songs that you love.
There are numerous ways to enjoy your music: you can use popular services like Google Cast and Spotify Connect, enjoy one-touch listening via your NFC-enabled device, or enjoy your personal music collection from a home PC or server. What’s more, DSEE HX upscaling will dramatically improve the quality of your music, and our brand new LDAC technology ensures high-quality wireless audio streaming by transferring 3x as much data as standard Bluetooth streaming.
As we mentioned, Multi-room is compatible with an array of Sony products. Our new flagship SRS-X88 and SRS-X99 wireless speakers can fill even the biggest of rooms with jaw-dropping sound, and our HT-ST9 and HT-NT3 sound bars are the perfect addition to any living room or home cinema area. There are plenty of other sound bars, TV base speakers, AV receivers and micro Hi-Fi systems that are compatible, and we’ll continue to add new products as time goes on.
