unstable picture

When I turn my camera on there is a vibration noise and the picture is all shaking and unstable. Is there any way to fix this or is it a faulty component?

Hello hillender - Welcome to the Sony Forums

It may be possible that all you need to do is perform a full reset of the camera to return it to the factory settings (this can often resolve minor issues such as this). If you let me know your model of camera I can let you know how to perform this procedure. If this doesn't work, there may be an internal fault within the camera but it is always a good idea to try resetting in the first instance.
