Yesterday I was filming a show using an external SONY microphone (I've used many times before with minidisc) connected to my Sony RX10 MIII by 3.5 mm connector.
I kept good watch on the audio recording level throughout the filming. Not once did the recording level go in to red.
But when looking at the footage now, the audio is way too loud with annoying clipping all over.
Have you any idea what went wrong?
