I have a DSC-HX90V and I always like taking photos but up until now I never bothered to really learn about photography but instead I've been relying on different auto modes in my cameras.
Now however I decided to invest some time and energy into learning more and I started by watching a couple of YouTube tutorials explaining the main goal to always get a proper exposure and the basics with F stops, shutter speed and ISO.
I decided to start playing around with the F stops value which would allow me to choose if I only want the object in focus sharp or also other parts of the scene. However regardless what aperture value I choose I haven't managed to get that effect but everything ends up being sharp in the picture even with the lowest F stop value.
Guess I must be missing something.
