Connecting DSC-HX400V to Smartphone via NFC

I've installed Imaging Edge Mobile on my Huawei P Smart.

On my DSC- HX400V I've gone to One-Touch (NFC) and selcted PlayMemories Camera Apps.

I've then returned the camera to shooting mode.

When I touch my phone to the NFC point on the camera the app does not start on my phone!

Getting really frustrated with this as I believe that I've correctly follwed all the instructions .

What am I not doing correctly???
