XDR 160e : when trying to delete from my computer , says : write protected

so the HDD is now full and can not delete anything from it ?

How are you trying to delete the files? Are you using software supplied with the camera or are you attaching the camera to your computer and then using Windows Explorer or similar to try and delete them?
