Hello

I have just brought a Sony HDR-PJ200 handycam and I imported the video from the camera to the Playmemories Home installed on my computer and when I click on the edit button to edit my video in Playmemories home the error says unable to perform the selected operation because non of the selected media files are in a file format that supports this feature.

What am I doing wrong?

First of all, could you please confirm which version of Playmemories you currently have installed? A new version was published on the official support site for this model on August 10th:

The current version should therefore be 1.3.02

That is the version I have. I have clicked on the update button and there are no available updates

Have you connected the PJ200 to the PC once via USB? To use certain features of the Play Memories software and for support of certain file formats the device has to be connected once to the PC. So if you copy the files from storage card only, the features may not be installed yet. I have checked PlayMemoreis with PJ260 and there was no problem opening/editing the video files.
