I have an old DVR PC110E camcorder and DV tapes made with it. The driver does not work on a VISTA computer. Does anyone know how I can recover the DV tapes so that I can edit them? I now have both VISTA and Windows 7. I would be grateful for any help.

Hi Brihugs and welcome.
You need an iLink cable (firewire cable) and connect your camcorder to your computer. Vista and Windows 7 will have the drivers required as part of Windows.
Using Windows Movie Maker you can import the videos to your computer, carry out basic editing and burn to DVD.

If you also have Windows 7 installed in your computer, you should be able to install the driver where Windows will check for it automatically online.
