Hi Landieman, welcome to the Sony Forums

Unfortunately USB drivers for older cameras tend not to be updated to comply with newer operating systems. In common with most MiniDV camcorders, there isn't a W7 driver for the TRV30 that I'm aware of.

However if your PC has a firewire port, you can connect via the camera's DV-out port without need for a driver.

If you don't have firewire it's an easy add-on, either by installing a card in your desktop or via a PCMCIA card adaptor in a laptop.
