SD CARD CLASSES

I own a SONY XPERIA C. and I am planning to purchase an external memory card. Please help me out in buying a new microSDHC card. I am interetsed in buying samsung EVO 16GB microsdhc class 10 UHS-I card or Sandisk micro SDHC 32 GB Class 10 UHS-I card for the device.(kingston and transcend also...)

Sandisk or Sony microSDHC 16/32 GB class 10 is more than enough.

I called Sony customer care and asked about the supporting memory card classes for xperia c.They replied class 4 and class 6. Why?

I'm not sure why your local support team said so, but the answer from alexdon is correct in this case.

Probably they said that because they didn't think you would need more than class 6.
