SPDIF passthrough, 65HX9077 not working

I tried several apps (players), and no passthrough audio over SPDIF (5.1 dolby digital or DTS 5.1). Only work with NOVA media player

Not working  VLC, MX PLAYER, TIVI IPTV, EXO player, KODI ......

Is there any chance to resolve this issue

Greetings

I've been using KODI since first Android TV models, so C series. And passthrough always worked for DD, transcoding was needed for DTS. Now have XG95 and KODI can passthrough DD (even E-AC3 and Atmos over DD) and DTS.

Something is clearly wrong with your settings.

Can you please tell setings that work for Kodi.

dunno if it is the same on your TV bu set digital audio out to Auto 1. Dolby Digital Plus output set to Dolby Digital because you are using SPDIF

in kodi audio settings......well, you don't really have to do anything there except turn on passthrough and then enable AC3. Not sure if DTS works on your TV because that was broken for ages, think that Pie finally fixed that but maybe not on all models so..... try it. And also, you still might need transcoding for DD+ because of SPDIF.

LIke I said, it is not perfect (like so many other things in this all digital world) but it is usable if you know the limitations.

Tried, not working. Work only with transcode enabled. Tested Vimu media
app, work only in engine V.1,, work also with NOVA media player. Probably
Exo2 api dont do passthrough.

Bug solved with latest update (Android 10). Not tested with all apps (I'm using TIVIMATE), but is probably working.
