Dear gentlemen from Sony, how do we solve the problem with the problematic boards of the CA modules that break down after 1-2 years and the TVs start to pixelate on HD channels. My TV is 2 years and 2 months old and there is no longer a warranty. Any compensation for customers?
Is this a problem with the board or with software? My problems starts after update to ver. 6.8022.
The technicians said that Sony installed low-quality boards, and many TVs are like that, and replacing a board costs 200 euros. My old Sony from 2015 - KD-55X8505C - has no problems at all. Is there a place to ask Sony to give an answer to this problem?
I'm trying to connect with them, but there no response!
Same problem with X90j after Firmware upgrade to v6.8022, If I remove the CI+ module, the free channels work fine. If I insert the module EVEN the free channels are pixelated !!!!!.
Sony fixed a problem in 2022 on the models from 2020/2021.
Streaming works fine.
Is there a FW that solves the problme ?
