Is there a quick and simple way to get a screen capture from my Android KD-X8005C TV, all I've been able to find on the web are quite complex solutions involving the SDK and/or a PC?

Hi there

The quickest and simplest way is a camera and take a photo.  Other than that, then its enabling developers mode and then the use of sdk tools and a pc as you have found out.
