Minor sound dropout issue after new firmware update on KD-65XG8505

Hi,

I got the new firmware (PKG6.3626.0521EUA) a few days ago.

Since then, every time I adjust the sound or change the channel, after approximately 10 seconds, the sound will disappear completely for about a second.

I have the TV connected to my STR-DN1040 and there was no issue before the update.

Hi Glen,

 

You can try the following:

 

[Settings] ► [Display Sound] ► [Audio Output] ► Last setting in this screen: [Pass through mode]

 

[Settings] ► [Storage and reset] ► [Internal storage] ► [Cache] ► [Clear]

 

Press and hold the Power button on the remote for 10 seconds, the TV will restart.
