KDL-65W857C Info/Text Reveal button not working with External inputs?

Hi,

Just installed my new KDL-65W857C Sony Bravia TV.

When on the Digital input (Freeview) and I press the Info/Text Reveal button,I get the Info banner up on the screen and it displays such things as the Audio & Vdeo signals that are being received,Clock and Date etc.

Whenever I switch to an external input ie: Sky, Chromecast, Apple Tv etc all through HDMI, the Info/Text Reveal button does nothing.

I have another Bravia Tv...about a year old and have no such issues with that...the Info/Text Reveal button works no matter what input I have selected.

Any advice or info would be much appreciated.

I have the same problem with my 55X9305C. I hope it's sorted, I mean it's a very basic function!!!!
