Is youtube app not supporting 4k 60 fps?
Hello everyone
I'am trying to watch 4k videos in the youtube app but not all 4k videos work ..only the video with 30 fps why is that ?

I just tried the YouTube app on my TV. The highest current supported 4k video output appears to be 4k@30fps. If you watch a 4k/60fps video then the highest the TV's YouTube app outputs is 1440p@60fps at the minute.

Disappointingly this is still the case (April 2018), even with the KD-49EX9005. It seems fine with 30fps content but 60fps (particularly in 4k HDR) has noticeable stutters. That's a bit poor as my previous Panasonic 40" TV did 4k HDR 60fps perfectly - so much for a trade-up!

Indeed no news. Google's own YouTube 2.0 is a total pain on Google's own Android TV platform. That's a total shame. Read on here. They should probably just bury that hardly supported platform.
