Info banner timeout

I have the KD-49X8305C and for some reason the info banner will not disappear after the TV is initially  turned on. 

It's the one that shows the time and the HDMI input . 

Anyone else had this, any solutions to it

Hi @sehuxle

Have you tried turning the info banner off in Settings?

Go to Home, then settings, channel settings, infobar and then select 'off'.

Many thanks, that removed the banner completely. 

I looked at various menus but not that one.
