Has anyone else had issues with micro stuttering when streaming Dolby Vision content on streaming apps? I have a A95L and I have had the issue for a while now that started when watching DV content on Disney plus, very jittery and constant micro stuttering. This would usually resolve by force closing the app. It has now spread to seemingly all DV content on all apps, really evident stuttering. I have tried the usual power cycling, restarting, checking for updates checking internet connection etc to no avail. I have suffered with quite a few software / firmware issues with this tv now and doesn’t seem to be improving.
I have since narrowed this down and found it is not actually Dolby Vision, but Dolby Atmos which is causing the video to stutter. Please has anyone else had this problem before?
Noticed this, but it's not Sony exclusive, TCLs do it also and it's specifically with Dolby Vision 8.1 profile, the other versions run fine. Seems like an Android issue cause it ain't just Sony.
What apps are you streaming specifically? I migh try on my Bravia 7

I am not sure if you seen my update where I’ve actually tracked it down to Dolby Atmos that’s causing the issues. All content on all apps where it’s supported stutters the video, as soon as I play anything that isn’t D-A the content plays fine..
I’ve also experienced this when playing the Avengers movies on Disney and switching to the DTS:X enhanced audio, caused constant stuttering until I disabled it. Wondering whether this may just be an issue with my actual TV ? 😕
Do you use an external audio system? If yes, try switching the output mode from Auto to Passthrough or vise versa.
No nothing external just the TV speakers, internal TV apps to normal TV speakers. The last thing I want to do is a factory reset as the screen has been calibrated, for it to possibly have no affect. I may try a wired internet connection next but think I have heard the TV’s maximum wired connection speed is something like 100 mbps which my wifi far exceeds, so not sure that will make any difference either.. I have had so many issues with this TV if it weren’t so good I’d have returned it long ago.
